Who knew pre-used milk jugs could transform the world?
well, I for one am transformed by seeing and sitting on this reality.
(AKA Silly Math, trix are for rabbits!)
For some reason, sitting on this park bench makes me want to sing "Everything Is Awesome!!!" by Tegan and Sara. (In this entry, I am not making commercial statements about Lego or endorsing any particular business entity. I am using my own personal photography at a place I visited to curate images that have profoundly shaped me.)

(The following math does not account for leap years.) If while Zanzibar Buck Buck McFate (a pretty cool name taken from Too Many Daves by Dr. Seuss) was growing up, Zanzi's family drinks 2 gallons of milk per week and there are 52 weeks in a year, Zanzi's family drinks 104 gallons of milk every year. In 9 years and 2 weeks, Zanzi's family will have drunk this park bench's worth of milk. By the time Zanzi is 18 years and 1 month, Zanzi's family will have drunk 2 park benches worth of milk.

According to Google as of last night at 10:53 PM, there are currently 8,300,000,000 people in the world. If we divide that number by 5 (Zanzi's family size while growing up), we get 1,660,000,000 families. With each of those families drinking 104 gallons of milk in a year, we get 172,640,000,000 gallons of milk drunk in a year. In a year, the world has drunk 183,659,574.5 park benches. In the 13,000 parks around the world, we could provide them each with 14,127.65958 park benches. If we start making too many park benches, we could try making some other items. Take a look at "Transformers 2a" and "Transformers 2b" below. We could start creating receptacles that would assist us in categorizing our used items into biodegradable items, items we currently know how to recycle, and those we don't currently know how to recycle. If we have our "fill" of these items, perhaps we could create bathroom stalls, doors, basketball backboards, file cabinets, desks, tables, chairs, end tables, dressers, pens, and more. If we did, I think we could actually all be "Transformers".
